Uncle Gabby (a.k.a. “Holokai") is the lead guitarist for the Halau band that provides music for all classes and Halau performances. From the Waipahu/Waianae area, Uncle Gabby describes himself as the “Halau fisherman” ~ a reference to his love of fishing. He has devoted many years to his music. Through the spirit of Aloha, he shares this music with students and audiences alike.
Holokai

Josh usually called Keola, is originally from Honolulu, Hawaii and the lead bass guitarist for the Halau band. He is also the Audio Engineer for all Halau performances.
Keola literally grew up in the Halau surrounded by Hawaiian music and dance. And although he loves all types of music, Keola says that he particularly enjoys playing for hula dancers!
