Introduction and fundamentals of hula for all new students regardless of age or gender

Kane Hula (Hula for men )
Students are expected to arrive early and be ready for the beginning of their class. For all classes, women and girls are encouraged to wear a pa'u (hula skirt) and men and boys to wear loose-fitting clothing. It is also recommended, but not required, to wear the Halau T-shirt to class. Attendance at Culture Day (every 4th Saturday) is strongly encouraged. Students are not required to perform at Halau events.
